Ingredients
  • 500 grams minced beef or lamb
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon 7 spice
  • 1 cup shredded Baladna Mozzarella
  • Olive oil for brushing
How it's made!
    • Prepare kofta mix
    • Combine minced meat with grated onion, garlic paste, salt, pepper, and 7 spice. Knead well until mixture becomes sticky and holds shape.
    • Shape boats
    • Take portions of kofta and form oval shapes. Use your thumb to press the center, creating a long hollow channel shaped like a boat.
    • Fill with mozzarella
    • Stuff each boat generously with Baladna Mozzarella. Make sure the cheese is tucked inside to prevent leaking.
    • Bake
    • Place boats on a greased baking tray. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.
    • Serve
    • Serve hot with tahini sauce, salad, or rice.
    • Tips
    • Chill the cheese slightly before stuffing so it melts slowly and stays inside.
