Ingredients

For the parfait

  • 2 cups Baladna Greek Yoghurt
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 half cup granola
  • 1 half cup assorted fruits such as berries, bananas, mango, or apples
  • 1 quarter cup mixed nuts lightly toasted
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
How it's made!
    • Prepare the ingredients
    • Wash and cut all fruits into small cubes or slices so they layer neatly inside the glass. Toast the nuts in a dry pan over medium heat for about one minute until they become fragrant and slightly golden. Once ready, set both the fruits and nuts aside. Preparing these elements in advance helps the layering process go smoothly.
    • Create the first yoghurt layer
    • Spoon a generous amount of Baladna Greek Yoghurt into the bottom of a clear serving glass. Flatten it slightly using the spoon to create an even base. Drizzle a tablespoon of honey over the yoghurt to add natural sweetness. Add a spoonful or two of granola directly on top of the honey to introduce the first crunchy texture.
    • Add the fruit component
    • Add a layer of mixed fruits on top of the granola. Make sure the fruits are spread evenly so the colors appear nicely through the glass. If using chia seeds or cinnamon, sprinkle a small amount now. These ingredients add nutritional value and a pleasant aroma.
    • Repeat the layers
    • Add another layer of Greek yoghurt, followed again by honey, granola, and fruits. Continue layering until the glass is full, leaving enough room for the final topping.
    • Final garnish
    • Top with the toasted nuts and a final ribbon of honey. The nuts provide crunch and the honey adds shine and sweetness. Serve immediately to maintain the crisp texture of the granola.
    • Tips
    • Use thick Greek yoghurt for the creamiest consistency. If preparing ahead, assemble everything except the granola and add it just before serving so it stays crunchy. Toasted nuts significantly enhance flavor, so avoid skipping this step.
