Ingredients
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded Baladna Mozzarella
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons cold water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or dried herbs, optional
How it's made!

    Prepare the dough

    • In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and paprika or herbs if using.
    • Add cold butter and rub it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    • Stir in shredded Baladna Mozzarella.
    • Gradually add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until a soft dough forms.

    Roll and cut

    • Preheat oven to 180°C.
    • Roll the dough thinly on a lightly floured surface.
    • Cut into small squares or desired shapes.
    • Place on a lined baking tray.

    Bake

    • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly golden and crisp.
    • Allow to cool completely to firm up.

    Serve

    • Serve as a crunchy Side Iftar snack or with dips.

    • Rolling the dough thin ensures extra crisp crackers.
    • Baladna Mozzarella adds a mild cheesy flavor and a light golden finish.
    • Store in an airtight container once fully cooled to maintain crispness.
